I might have decided I should start up MapleParty now. I really don't have anything to write about right now, so hi.

  Don't EVER trust a MapleStory user! I just been recently been jacked from all my rare items. Here's the story :

   A user, who will be named as Ninja, asked me if I wanted to join his game in which we win rare items. Also another user, name will be Blade, was my competitor. So we were both sent to Naultius Harbor to play this game at the Mini Dungeon. I won the Alien Bow, which is really rare. After another round, we had a contest to drop the most rarest item. He won a Olivia's Chair and Dances with Barlog Chair. Then when it was my turn, I dropped my rarest : Alien Bow, Maple Staff, Onyx Apple, and my rarest and most prized possession, my YELLOW ROBO CHAIR. It was my friend's which he gave to me to borrow. It was limited edition and he trusted me with it. So when I dropped all my rare items, Blade left the map. So all of us was sent outside. All my items were gone, he won all the rare items. I lost everything.

   Was this a plan? I'm feel this is somewhat of a plan. I predict the two users were teaming up to get my rare items, which they succeeded. They made me trust them by giving me an Alien Bow. I fell for it. Hopefully there will be a rollback since there was a fake GM hacking on one map.

    The scammer is named DarkSlashes. I play in Windia server, so that's where you are going to find him. If you could, would you message him saying why would he do this. I've been scammed way to many times. I never learned from it. I always say to myself "That's just a bad person. Everyone else are kind". But Maplers are all the same, selfish. I'm not trying to offend you readers. This is just my perspective to Maplers. 

    Never trust anyone no matter what. You shouldn't even trust a level 150, or even a level 200. They just their way of scamming. I always thought high levels were more honest. You shouldn't even share you account with people in real life. I've also been hacked of my account by my so-called friend. He said he would train me, so I gave it to him. The next day, I lost everything and he said he letted this guy train it. That was a pure lie. It was all because of him. Please, don't trust anyusers, including me. Even though I won't do anything. I will still play MapleStory, but I will l be solo for now on.

 There is a new huge patch coming to MapleStory. It could be bigger than Big Bang, and even MapleStory Chaos (which sucked). There will be 3 new classes coming to MapleStory (just like MapleStory Big Bang). The names of these 3 classes are "Cannon Shooter, Mercedes, and Demon Slayer". Mercedes is the king/queen of the elves and has a unique way of playing. Furthermore, there will be a permanent 20% increase in speed for every character and the content from the Technological Age update will be improved. What I mean with that is that the profession skills will be improved. Demon slayer worked for the Black Mage, but now is a Resistance warrior.

There's already release dates for all of them. Cannon shooter is left, Mercedes is midde, and Demon Slayer is right.

Cannon Shooter's weapon is a cannon, one handed weapon which is really strong. This class is recommended for people wanting a strong class, but may be slow.

This class is similiar to the dual blader, but with twin crossbows. This class is really quick, but may be kind of weak. This class has beautiful skills that will blow your mind. Mercedes is the beautiful hero of the elves who has awakened from the curse. I would totally choose this class, even this class has to be a girl.

Release Date : August 4th

Demon slayer's weapon is a one-handed mace. This class is currently unknown. The Demon Slayer was once part of the army of the Black Magician, but has left the army to join the Resistance in order to defeat the Black Wings organization.

To me, the MERCEDES and DEMON SLAYER classes look similiar to the classes at the game called "Grand Chase". Here's my example :

Now these to look really similiar. But the Grand Chase version looks cooler. MapleStory's looks funny...

I have thought of this for a while. I am thinking of closing down MapleParty. After 1 year since the opening, it wasn't going anywhere. This is like a dead-end to me so I might discontinue this website for my new anime website project. Please decide MapleParty's fate :

   A lot of people must of heard of Spadow. He's (or she's...o.O) is a very popular MapleStory blogger. I mean VERY popular. He plays KMS and gets the information first. He also gets to play in Tespia server to test the new updates, events, and classes. That's very cool. It's sad the many MapleStory bloggers copies his blogs and just change a few words. They copy his whole pictures for a blog and post it on their own blog. He is a very nice person. If people has a website had popular as that, they would decorate it with annoying advertisements. But he doesn't care about money. He focuses on his blogs and not the money. He's been offered so many thing by other popular MapleStory websites, but he denied. That shows he works alone and is not in for money. It's many websites like other bloggers that are jealous of how successful he is. It is very easy to be addicted to his site and visit it daily.

    By the time we wrote this, Spadow quit he blog already. Spadow ended on June 8th, 2011. Let's remember the first blog Spadow wrote. It was on September 25, 2008. The blog was about the Mu Lung Dojo. You can see the paragraph isn't the lengthy. But as time past, he got much better at it. That's what makes him an amazing blogger. Because he never ever gives up! Now, his site still standing proud is now a graveyard of the precious Spadow.

Chaos is Coming!

The Chaos shall hit GMS starting 6/29 with the "Age of Heroes" Patch! This patch is gonna have a restructuring of Arans, Evans and the Dual Blade classes. Many of them get new skills and attack animations, making them much more powerful than ever before. I'll post the skill changes when it's official in GMS. Also a new area will be revealed....

I've finally been chosen to play the closed beta of MapleStory Adventures! So far, I think that game is super slow. The game is super buggy and has many errors. Like when I first created my character, then it froze. Of course, I chose the magician class. I'm more of a follower than a leader. Now I refreshed the page, it finally works (so far). Okay I'm going to post diary entries of what I think of the game by the time :

    Doing a quest to kill 5 ribbon pigs. Now doing quest to kill 8 blue snails. Now doing quest to wear a newspaper hat. OMG STOP WITH THE QUEST! I JUST WANT TO TRAIN PLEASE! Now I have to click on a NPC (for a quest). Now killing 12 red snails for another ******** quest. Now they made me waste 500 mesos on a sword I don't need. This game is super pushy. Killing a moss snail thingy. OMG KILL ME PLEASE!

What’s your name (Owner a.k.a. Savage)? My real name's Harry Metzler. Everyone was going by aliases when they made fansites back then, so I decided to continue with that precedent.

When did Maple-News start? June 30, 2007

How many workers worked for Maple-News when it started ?When Maple-News started it was pretty much just myself and my friend Justin (known as Iris). We had been part of other fansites, particularly an old forum/database site called “Happy Mapling”. We really got involved in that site and when things started going downhill with their management we decided to start our own site. My mom is a news anchor/journalist, so making a news site was obvious. We all loved writing and just wanted to contribute to the community. And then we had Loliness and some friends from MapleStory join and it kind of grew from there. It really depends, to be honest. We've gone through waves of staff members that have made great contributions to this website. But things change, and some of those staff members had to move on.

Whose your most loyal worker?  I would have to say the most loyal worker is Iris. He's been there with me since the beginning and even though he's inactive when it comes to actually working on the site he still helps out with bills and helps plan big updates and such.

So I'd have to say him. But there have been tons of great staff members over the years.

Was there any huge problem with Maple-news throughout the years? When we first started the fansite community, it was very different. Everyone was doing it because they enjoyed playing MapleStory and wanted to share their experiences and contribute to the community. We met a lot of great people who helped us get off the ground but there were sites, most notably rival news sites, that frequently harassed us.

Name one rival news site that is still up or the biggest rival?  There are none. There were three of them, in total but none of them lasted longer than a month or two. I don't think they understood that you can't just write random updates. Anyway, a lot of people don't understand that a lot of work actually goes into writing news posts. It's not copy and pasting news updates from the official site. A lot of thought goes into our posts.

What would you rate your site?  I'd give us a 7. I think we've come a long way but we can always get better.

Are you deciding to change the template? Yes. We're planning to re-do the site template for our 4th anniversary on June 30th.

How much longer will Maple-New be running? We'll keep running the site as long as we have the money to pay the hosting and the will and inspiration to keep writing about the game. As long as people still visit, comment, and show interest in the site, we're motivated to keep on going.

How much money do you make a month? Surprisingly, we barely make any money on the site. It's a popular belief that if you run a website you make money off of it but unless you're running sites like Sleepywood or Basil Market you're not making much money. I know even they don't make too much. The site's funded out of our own pocket and we only get a few donations a year. We didn't decide to do this for the money (although some revenue would be nice and would allow us to make the site better). It really depends on who decides to buy adspace each month. That's where we get our real revenue.

Brentie from Yellonde here! Just thought I'd introduce myself and what I'd like to do here at MapleParty.

Well here it goes. I've played Maplestory on and off for the past 4 to 5 years. I currently just got back from a break due to moving from Idaho back to my home city in California. I have a lot of different characters (blue are active, red is retired, green is on break, with plans to continue later):

As most of us already know the great Spadow has retired his blog for whatever reason. Now I might not be in kmst, or kms,  and won't be able to give hands on experience of the latest things. However, I will do my best to browse various sources of information to get you guys the latest news on patches in KMS and GMS.

The MapleStory Adventures game was open on June 15th. If you signed up before it was open, then you should wait for your key to come. If you didn't sign up, you aren't able to sign up. But theirs still a chance for you! Go to the fan page of the application :

You will get a change to earn you key. I already signed up but didn't get my key. So right now, I'm playing a much better game, the waiting game....Also I heard there's a lot of errors, glitches, and bugs on the game. I really don't see the use of having this game on FaceBook while it's already online. But maybe Nexon wants to keep Maplers entertained when their is a MapleStory maintenance. But maybe I'm wrong. Maybe they want to make extra money. Well, I haven't played MapleStory Adventures yet so I don't know what it's like. When I get my key, I'll inform my readers all about it!
